The only unfortunate aspect of this is the nearly tautological effect of this kind of news being translated as "tf2 is dead", and then people treating it as dead because of that, which is what actually causes it to die, or at least be severely reduced in population. I hate how the cycle nowadays tries to herd whole playerbases to new things, even if the old thing was great, or better.
