Thought you were from CO. >_> I moved, the population has doubled since I was a kid, it's not the same place it was. The only thing worse than the rich assholes in Colorado who only live there 3 months out of the year yet own 60% of the housing are the locals who hate on transplants. I think there are deeper reasons for the locals not liking the transplants though. The transplants now equal or outnumber the locals. You might not like it if the antelope prairies you visited as a kid are now thousands of mansions and Super Targets owned by 80% transplants, or if your small town you grew up in is now a median house price of $2million and no one actually lives there, they're just vacation homes. They've really changed the state a lot, it's not just a matter of not wanting to share. There wasn't anything to give in the first place, the transplants bulldozed it to make room compound that with the fact that most transplants are ALSO just generally disliked because they move to "live the life" but don't actually do anything but ski 3 times a year and camp once... I just find it sad, honestly.
