| Mad_Max 11/22/19 7:27:20 PM #247: | I love that the GOPs strongest defense is that none of the witnesses who testified at the inquiry said Trump explicitly told them he was withholding aid in return for an investigation into Biden, but the White House refused to let those who may have direct knowledge of such a scheme testify. Because, you know, that's what innocent people do. If this were a court of law, there'd be more than enough evidence to convict. But impeachment is a whole 'nother animal. Still very much an uphill battle, but those Republicans have to know that any American with a functioning brain in their skull knows Trump is corrupt, self-serving, and treasonous.
