There's a compliment in there, cause you're saying they look well put together. And it leaves them open to tell you what they're doing but it also doesn't pressure them to tell you, cause they can easily evade turning it into an actual conversation. My strategy is always to open the door but make it seem like it's completely up to them to walk through it. However, we're humans so they obviously can just not pick up what you're putting down.
