Topic	Why, as a society, do we love remakes of video games but hate remakes of movies?

Also, games can add more modern features that simply may not have been obvious at the time. Most movies simply don't have much to gain from a remake, except for maybe some updated special effects. Also, a lot of movies are today are remade more for sociopolitical corrections than any real interest in the property itself. --- Remember kids, it's only an RPG until someone gets hit with a meteor; Then it's a JRPG!
