Basically, you can either swing at every pitch and know you'll eventually get a hit, or you can keep an eye out for more clues to raise those chances. It's silly the amount of hints and gestures I missed when I was single. I didn't do too bad, but once I met my current girlfriend, it all became obvious. Like stated, if they smile or seem to linger closer to you, they may think you're cute. Being able to be rejected and then play it off helps. Makes it more like a practice swing.
