It's no different than walking away from someone you don't want to talk or listen to IRL. Now you'll probably hear some bullshit meant to discourage you from taking such a step. Keep in mind that 99% of people who take an issue with the ignore/block feature... are part of the reason those features exist. "Blocking is censorship!" Nope. You're not the government and you aren't controlling what they say. "Only cowards ignore people!" Nope. There is nothing brave about taking anyone's shit. "You just can't handle different opinions!" Nope. You're doing this because you're being mistreated, not because you don't agree on flavors of ice cream. All of these excuses translates into not ending the fun of troublemakers. You're not here for their sake. Don't let them dictate what to do.
