Just to play devils advocate (dont shoot me for it), my assumption is that people questioned why she was given so much attention in the first place. It seems a little emotionally manipulative to prop a little girl up as a spokesperson when she hasnt even finished high school.

Now, the amount of pure stupidity and hatred is fucking appalling and seeing relatives post such mean spirited stuff is super disheartening.

That was the point imo. She was obviously coached and had handlers, but she's perfect for delivering the agenda because you aren't allowed to criticize children. Also, plenty of people will rally behind the story of a young girl trying to change the world.

I don't really get the resistance. We could be doing things a hell of a lot cleaner than we are now, so why shouldn't we? It shouldn't matter how people feel about the science behind it.

It's like arguing why we bother to use garbages when we can just throw everything in the street. There are obviously better ways of doing things that willl improve the quality of the planet and the organic life that resides on it. Seems like a no-brainer to me.
