| EverDownward 12/06/19 1:08:10 AM #1: | in this topic, we'll be listening to and examining Les Rallizes Dnuds, a japanese psychedelic folk rock/noise rock group that has much of its history shrouded in ambiguity. the most important things to know about these dudes is that at least one member has radical leftist views and alleged ties to the Japanese Red Army, the bassist hijacked a passenger plane and flew it to north korea (where he still resides to this day), and the vocalist really, really loves the Velvet Underground. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJYKBJMsPHQ a six minute ballad that is near entirely instrumental save for a few verses at the end. endearing, lovely, fantastic. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYfQUBEsb38 a nine minute epic that is as sweeping as it is far-reaching. absolutely heartwarming. --- take me somewhere nice "if you don't heal what hurt you, you will bleed on people that didn't cut you" ...
