What gets me about it is that NFL pretty much dethroned MLB as America's sport... but then again, baseball is a worldwide sport, so maybe that's how they get the revenue to pay guys like that. Russell Wilson gets 35 million per year and plays 1/10 of the games as baseball players. Even though a pitcher will pitch 32 games in a good year that's still twice as much as NFL.
