Topic	I don't get the hyper defense of Dark Souls 1
SRPGinvestigato 12/15/19 7:18:47 PM #25:	I think the DLC I Dark Souls 2 is great all around. Ignoring the DLC, I also think it has a lot of great bosses. It's just easy to forget the stand outs in the midst of some of the lamer ones, especially since one of the lame ones is the final boss. I'd argue that Dark Souls 2's second half is also weak in general. Dranglaic castle is pretty good, but everything after that has a LOT of wasted potential, and Scholar of the First Sin only made it worse. Dark Souls 1s second half has issues but at least there was variety and the level design wasn't boring linear (outside of Izalith, but at least there's a good scene with Onionbro and again, SOME variety with the lava walking.) <cite>SRPGinvestigato posted [p:931633998] in I don't ge...
