There is basically no puritan/prude or religious culture here, so it offends both socially right and left-wing Americans for a variety of reasons. I personally love that about Japan and have no desire to be surrounded by people who hate sex in media or go on about religion. That said the economic aspect is definitely not left-wing in most anime. Outside of Miyazaki I don't think anyone prominent in anime directing has been very involved in left-wing movements, and even he is a lot less radical now (he used to be heavily involved with the Japanese Communist Party, and even made a manga for them). --- Favorite Games: BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Street Fighter III: Third Strike, Bayonetta, Bloodborne thats a username you habe - chuckyhacksss ...
