You pay reddit to put a badge on someones post to say hey I really like that. Big problem with that is reddit is no longer run by good actors. Its owned by people who want to limit our internet freedoms and commodify everything. One of the Chinese companies trying to censor anyone speaking out against their government owns a large share in reddit as of this past year or so.
