kills all of his (personally chosen) lieutenants because they aren't strong enough just makes him look like a dumbass.
I actually dig that, his ruthlessness and intimidation factor is off the charts to me and that makes for a cool villain imo. And doing that goes to show that he really is THAT strong, because otherwise like you said he wouldn't survive 1000 years doing stuff like that UNLESS he had the strength to back it up. So I dunno so far I think he's cool.
