On every single human being alive today's family tree, if you go back far enough, you will hit someone who is in every single tree. By the technical definition of the word, we are all cousins. The only relationship you will ever have with another human who is NOT your cousin is if they're even closer in degree (parents, siblings, children, etc). And I'm not talking Biblical stories here, I'm talking legitimate science. Look up Y-Chromosome Adam and Mitochondrial Eve. Every human alive is related to every other human. Very obviously the people here are using cousin in the most well known and common meaning of "the child of a parent's sibling". Any other meaning is phrased differently like second cousin.
