With the sheer number of people (as compared to our parents generation), it gives the workplaces leverage to decide what we make. For example, a business would have more leverage over starting pay when 200 people are applying, because someone will take bottom dollar to get work.

When you do find work, you find that you arent getting paid what you should and what doesnt get taxed away from you goes to pay for some other kind of punitive measure. Anything thats left goes to the sadistic cost of living, which our parents generation didnt go through.

Its no surprise that people are depressed when they can barely afford to eat (with two jobs) and realize at a young age that they can never afford a family or to even own property.
