So after reading some comments on social media(yes I went to a dark place) I saw most folk saying on boxing day places should be closed and it's only greed that makes these places stay open. Having worked in retail we got a choice to have Christmas Eve or Boxing day off and to be honest I didn't mind working any of these as it would mean more money and I don't have any other commitments. I understand some folk have families they want to spend time with but I don't agree places should be closed, even more so on boxing day. I feel workers should be given a choice to work these days or not though. Thoughts?
