Topic	Someone explain the appeal Steven Universe to me

The show explores themes of being yourself, relationships(healthy and unhealthy), destiny~~(or lack thereof)~~, dealing with loss, the fallibility of parents and leaders, etc. etc. We are currently in the midst of Steven Universe Future, which is a sequel series set after the movie(itself set after the end of the original series).
