Topic	Favourite war film, and why?
Wii_Shaker 12/29/19 8:18:16 AM #11:	It's a Beautiful Life. It's a movie about how a happy family is torn apart by the rise of the Nazis and their struggle to find hope in Auschwitz. Grave of the Fireflies is also a movie I enjoy. It follows a Japanese boy who must care for his sister after being orphaned after an atomic bomb is dropped on his home. Full Metal Jacket is up there also. I watched it very young and Kubrick's imagery has always stayed with me. I like Inglorious Basterds also (It's my favorite Tarantino Film) but in general I don't like movies that glorify war.
