The Tales of the Jedi comics actually had an interesting take on it where there was some crappier technology and shit and everything had this weird Roman/Babylonian futuretech aesthetic. KotOR ditched that and more resembled the prequels. Though as for the state of technology I just always assumed that like when you reach a certain level of advancement you just kinda plateau. --- Not removing this until Mega Man 64 is released on the Wii Virtual Console.
