i dunno, that's just art? i guess in games there's only so many types of stories that get saturated, but are you worried about moviegoers because there's a market for something like eternal sunshine?

I played What Remains of Edith Finch recently and enjoyed it, but I haven't really played anything else in that genre. It doesn't feel like something that I'd want to play a lot of.

i wouldn't say most first person narrative adventure games are about grief and loss. gone home, the witness and paratropic are all wildly different games

if anything most of them are about making quick money on steam through jump scares
