I get that some people are making her out to be a hero, which I don't really buy, but I don't see how you can deny that she is doing something good. We need to increase awareness of global climate change, how can the American right disagree with that one?

A lot of social media posts I see criticize her for trying to be act like an adult, but at least she is trying to do something positive. A lot of 17 year olds can barely get themselves out of bed to get to school on time.

I have also seen her called a puppet and that she is just following a script. I think that is probably partially true, but is that not true for most adult activists and politicians too? I mean most top politicians have speech writers and advisors and all that sort of thing. Is that really much different?
