Topic | I can't stand jokes about "the quiet kid" in school bring dangerous. |
Pitlord_Special 01/09/20 9:58:39 PM #26: | I had a teacher in high school (junior year) think I was one of those and they brought it to my parents attention somehow and they sent me to see a psychologist I did counseling for like 2 months but the psychologist basically concluded that there wasn't anything wrong with me and that I just had a hard time relating to my peers due to different interests and levels of thinking. Looking back, I actually consider it part of one of the most positive experiences of my life. That year in school, I changed my entire perspective on life and how I saw my place in the world (hard to say how much the counseling contributed to that). I also had an...awakening...to a strong sense of empathy and being able to pick up on what is going on with other people. I actually ended up making many friends and having a lot of fun in my senior year since I was able to incorporate all of that into how I relate to people (something I continue to build off of and develop to this day) --- Posted from my iPhone 8 ...
