Topic	Rise of Skywalker is bad because

The vague storytelling is his style and he attributes it to a story about an unopened gift given to him from his grandfather. Also JJ isnt good at writing and neither is the guy who wrote Batman vs. Superman & Justice League. Rian Johnson could have followed up on stuff from The Force Awakens but he didnt. JJ could have followed up on stuff from The Last Jedi but he didnt. How about using the stuff from Ep. 8 about the galaxy needing a legend. Rey adopts the legendary Skywalker name and helps rally more people for the Resistance, which would play into that scene of all those ships showing up for the final battle. She still ends up choosing her identity. How about Canto Bight and the revelation that the military industrial complex is supplying both the First Order & the Resistance. JJ could have incorporated that into explaining how Palpatine was able to build his new grand armada while keeping both the Resistance & First Order distracted & in the dark. Palpatine did the same thing in Ep. 2 and that whole movie is about how both sides were secretly amassing their armies.
