I also know that Texas (and maybe other places as well) has a law that you can drink under 21 provided you are married to someone over 21 who is there. You do have to have the marriage certificate. I had friends who have used this rule. So, I've seen it multiple times. As for the dating, it's not weird. Like many others have said, 4 years is nothing. Provided that they are both adults, it doesn't matter. Not to mention, it seems like they could have gone to school together.
