You can be whatever you want to be. it sounds like you're attracted to women, though. They can claim to be anything they want, but it doesn't mean you have to be something because they claim it. It doesn't matter what anybody else says or does. Only what you think. If they were pre-op, then you still technically had sex with a women, even though they claim to be male. Also, you wouldn't have to claim to be gay around them. If you did want to make them feel better, you could claim bi. But the whole transgender things is still kind of confusing.
