People aren't perfect. That includes celebrities. They make mistakes too, sometimes really really bad ones. But when they learn from those mistakes and spend the rest of their life trying to grow and change into a better person, then why still condemn them for a mistake that happened so long ago?

Don't forgive him for the crime, but acknowledge that he spent the rest of his days trying to make up for it. And respect that people are trying to grieve for someone that probably was overall a good person because let's be real you don't know for sure either way. You never do, with anyone. People are good at hiding things.

At the very least just stop arguing about it. What does it gain you? Even if you are right and he did commit the crime, okay? Congratulations on being right I guess. Have a cookie.
