| Phantom36 02/07/20 3:49:03 PM #1: | So after the super bowl, Trump tweeted something about congratulating the State of Kansas, and everyone made fun of it. This inspired me to do a little research, combined with info from GameFAQs' own NFL board: It turns out that there actually is a Kansas City, Kansas just across the border from Kansas City, Missouri! Kansas City, Missouri is actually older than the State of Kansas itself. In fact, it was originally just called Kansas, Missouri. Then when they founded the State of Kansas, they changed the name of the city to Kansas City to avoid confusion. But then they founded Kansas City, Kansas and made it more confusing. There is also an Arkansas City, Kansas, and believe it or not, it's actually pronounced as "Ar-Kansas City, Kansas," not like the state of Arkansas. There is also a Kansas, Oklahoma, and a Kansas, Ohio, as well as an Arkansas City, Arkansas. --- The Phantom has spoken! ... Copied to Clipboard! |
