| Topic | Man... people look at you crazy when you say you don't want marriage or kids |

Ive been meaning to make this topic for a while but I kept forgetting about it and I had another one of those reactions today so I remembered. Its crazy. I dont think any less of you if you want kids and/or marriage. Enjoy your life. I dont understand how negative some people are to not wanting those things. I live in the South in the US so things might be different else where. However, Im not a big fan of children and I know the financial... liability? I guess thats the term, they can cause. Im looking at marriage and seeing the divorce rate higher than 50%. When I bring that up, people always say those people didnt find Ms Right or something like that. Yet... you are getting married.,. Everyone assumes that their partner is THE ONE. Yet you see the divorce rates. Plus, males often get shafted at a disproportionate rate in court. Im just weighing my options and my opinions and making this decision. Its crazy that I get looks like Im the spawn of Satan or something. Anyone else deal with this from time to time? --- Yes...
