If you've liked any of the previous entries, that is a hard yes. The game is definitely not for everyone. If you're unfamiliar with the franchise, it's still a great place to start. You'd be hard struck to find a better jrpg this gen. Even an SMT elitist like myself, can't help but put it in my top 5 jrpgs. It might sound pretty ludicrous of me to suggest you try playing for at least 15 to 20 hours before making a decision, but given the game is quite long.
