I'm 400k in debt with 6.9% interest that's been capitalizing from 4 years of med school and won't be able to start paying it down for another 4 during residency. Being a high earner is offset by the fact I'm 29 and won't be an attending until I'm 32 and realistically am nearly 10 years late in investing towards retirement. Yeah I'll pay it down with some discipline, and yeah, it's better than a lot of circumstances, but it comes at a huge cost. megamanfreakXD posted...
