Super Smash Bros Ultimate vs. Tekken 7

Tekken 7 gets Fighter SFF'd by Smash. Nah, I just made that up. It's nintendo vs mainstream fighter series. You know how it goes.

Winner: Smash

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds vs. Bayonetta

3rd game I have played. LBW is great, man. Probably my favorite 2D Zelda to date. It just picks the LttP formula and improves from it, and giving all items from the start was sugh a fun innovation that made it more open ended, something I think BOTW picked up from. It also has a fantastic soundtrack, full of catchy tunes.

Bayonetta has strength, all right. LBW is a portable Zelda, those are not that strong. But it's Zelda, and Bayonetta is a B-list Nintendo series. This is an actual SFF.

Winner: LBW.

Marvel's Spider-Man vs Dead Space 2

I... think I have head of Dead Space? I have definitely heard of Spider-Man, though. And people loved this game when it first came out. Even without that, I'd take fucking Spider-Man in a match pic anytime. Give us the character battle with non-gaming characters allowed already, Allen!

Winner: Spidey

Minecraft vs. Dota 2

Interesting. Both games you wouldn't expect GameFAQs to give much of a damn about. The first is perhaps the most successful casual game of the decade, and one of the biggest of all time. "Casual" spells death here, though. Dota is LoL's biggest rival, and a very popular e-sports game. E-sports is another word that doesn't mean strength a lot here, either.

I feel like when it comes to protecting their turf from the casual menace, gameFAQs people will antivote Minecraft first and pick what looks like a "real game". It's a sad way to analyse a match, but it's how it goes. I've learned not to bet on casual in these contests the hard way.
