Then I looked up the results and haha yeah Binding of Isaac wins. Getting tripled by Witcher 3 isn't great but at least Witcher 3 is a strong game. There's worse results for fodder to have. Nioh has done AWFUL in every poll it's been in, and the Character Action Game genre is simply not one GameFAQs cares much about. Devil May Cry - the king of that genre - never lives up to expectations and Nioh is several rungs below DMC on the hierarchy. Maybe Smash wasn't at that level yet back in 2018 bit has grown since then due to DLC extending its life cycle? Hmm? Oh, yeah, there's a match. Technically speaking.
