Topic	Is there a better twist in the final fantasy series than FF8? Spoilers

You have to realize that it was the first FF game to have a plot beyond "get crystals" and has actual characters with their own personalities and arcs rather than the blank slates you had in the first three. In 1 and 3 all your characters had zero dialogue or character. It was a pretty big deal for its time.
