If you want it to work in a way Microsoft doesn't want you to, though, it can horribly break. As far as the spying aspects of Windows goes, while you can easily argue it's morally wrong, practically speaking it's unlikely to legitimately effect you in any meaningful way. BTB posted... And I hate that Microsoft's apathetic consumer base continues to allow them to profit from unethical practices. So... feeling's kinda mutual. You don't like it? Don't use it. OSX/Linux/BSD/other obscure shit exist.
