I think the best puff is a player from Japan at least based off tournament results. Cannon red is the puff player from Texas I was talking about.

Also the thing about characters is that sometimes people are wrong about them. I do think it's safe to say Puff is not a good character but some characters have proven themselves to be good. Elegant believes Luigi is a high tier character and has at least shown results with him, even making into the PGR. Game and Watch is the character in this game with the weirdest perception. People used to believe he was a low tier character, Zero even put him in bottom tier, until Maister started showing how dumb game and watch is. Maister also thinks he's top 10 but while most don't think that he's often thought of as at least high tier if not top tier. His overall tournament results have also gone up, he's sitting at #16 in OrionStats and is only 20 points behind Inkling at #15.

While I don't think Puff is going to climb up you never know. Might that someone to show characters like Puff or Isabelle have the sauce.
