| Giggsalot 03/13/20 8:06:57 PM #18: | haha what how is this a thing that gets a 20 post topic on B8 in 2020 but we haven't been able to keep a music topic alive for years, you guys surprise me! I listened to the live stream yesterday with incredible excitement and it sounded... good, I guess? need more listens, but I feel like everyone is pleasantly surprised by this because they totally stopped caring about Jay; I never really did, so it felt... mildly underwhelming, maybe? Jay's a weird one (duh), because despite his reputation he actually does have lots of material out there if you wanna go find it; I'm not convinced this is really up there with his best stuff. and jay-z seemed to do fine but him being all over this rubs me the wrong way somehow. but hey, I'm glad it exists anyway! --- And if you don't know, now you know. ...
