Topic	TLC, the TV channel, is a fucking travesty

It's almost always some mix of desperation, loneliness, and exploitation. Getting enjoyment from watching other people flail is pathetic. It's actually pretty insightful tbh my wife is from another country and we also dealt a lot with the "she's doing it for the green card" shit (mostly by friends and coworkers, I'm pretty distant from my family but even they were like "eh we always knew you were going to marry a girl from another country" and they've been supportive).
