In my experience with other cheaper wireless headphones I find that they end up blowing out or they end up having connectivity issues with my phone at one point. My beats have worked so smoothly and seamlessly with my Iphone that I've never had that issue. The rap thing makes sense too, thats all I listen to so thats probably why I never noticed the quality drop in sound.
