It was my second favorite job. The dress code was simply a collared shirt, long pants, and shoes. No uniform, and you could wear jeans lol. All I had to do was wander around our little store alphabetizing games, fixing up shelves, answer the phone, ring people up, and talk to people about video games. They didn't mind me talking to people about games we liked for half an hour because it was the business lol. And when Christmas was approaching, I volunteered to work overnight. Just packing box after box while talking with my friend who was the manager there. Good times :3

Sadly that GameStop closed. Ala Moana rent be high :<

Although, just to clarify: That hard sell on pre-order/trade in stuff was a load of bullshit. I flat out asked the head manager day one about it, and she said no, it was just an urban myth blown out of proportion. At worst we just had our boring "Hi, thank you for calling GameStop Ala Moana where you can buy and sell used games, this is ____, how may I help you?" phone pick up line.
so what your saying is your manager wasn't an absolute dickhead? because its definitely a thing in some stores. did you do a large amount of used buying/selling?
