| sevihaimerej 03/30/20 6:37:17 PM #14: | I wouldn't compare this to beauty standards as they evolve quickly (and the invention of the internet opened the floodgates of culture) and are tied to a very subjective experience, what you describe is literally omitting historical facts. In other words, European history is glorified in European places. This may sound like a bigger problem than it is, talk to the average person and they will explicitly call you a nerd for talking about history and admit they don't know (or give a fuck) anything about who invented whatever.
