The Federal Reserve was absorbed into the US government. The Federal Reserve, the previously private entity that determined our monetary policy, printed out money whenever they damn well felt like. The Federal Reserve, the one who got us into war upon war in the Middle East because Oil rich countries didn't want to trade their oil for USD anymore (the weapons of mass destruction could have been real, it's called the petro euro that we had to put a stop to). The Federal Reserve, that any politician that tried to audit, regulate, or investigate the entity was shutdown by the government. The Federal Reserve, where presidents who made the attempt to challenge them got a bad case of lead poisoning. The Federal Reserve, the culprit responsible for killing our purchasing power via inflation. It's now commanded by this dude.

*Who answers to the Supreme Overlord DJ Trump.

I was at a bar several months ago where I had a random conversation with this one retired Boomer. He told me that Trump was going to end the Feds. I thought that was impossible and completely unrealistic. Yet. HERE. WE. ARE. And Qanon said they weren't going to be closed, but restructured. The fact that the press isn't making a huge deal about this when it's a story on par with the economic shutdown AND the pandemic (I dunno if it's combined, maybe) is another reminder that the press isn't on our side.

And this is also why I implore you all to learn about investing. You don't have to spend money, but you gotta learn the field. This is what gives you incentive to learn about money and what gives it its worth. And when you start learning about the history, you'll see how so many historical events are rooted around maintaining and gaining power of central banks which helps gives context as to why we do the things we do. Why we have such a massive military budget, why we protect the trade routes, what causes the strife in the Middle East, why Satoshi Nakamoto has to be anonymous, all of these answers will come with learning to invest.
