For starters, VLR is almost unanimously considered the best in the franchise while Danganronpa 2 is generally seen as worse than the original. I also generally hold the opinion that later games in the franchise being worse only strengthens earlier games in the franchise. Super Paper Mario for example has gained a much more favorable reputation after Sticker Star's release. So I don't think Zero Time Dilemma hurts it much. Don't get me wrong, VLR was never going to be a heavy hitter in this competition, I'm just saying the 30% votes it did get are probably mostly the VLR fanbase and not like, anti-votes against Diablo 3 or anything. It's like a mini-Xenoblade honestly. Small fanbase, but the people who have played it really, really like it.
