| dainkinkaide 04/19/20 11:27:27 AM #7: | The original Gwenpool run? Chris Hastings did an amazing job on the writing, and the art by Gurihiru was fun and fit the tone of the series really well. Granted, I'm a fan of the Adventures of Dr. McNinja, so Hastings being allowed to go a little bit nuts with the metatextual stuff within the Marvel Universe was pretty great. So yeah, I enjoyed the hell out of The Unbelievable Gwenpool. I haven't read the newer run, though, so I can't pass judgement on that. From what I've heard, though, it starts off not like the character at all (disappointing fans of the original), but that ended up being in service of the narrative they were going for later on, so I might have to give it a shot some time. --- The problem with the internet today is that it's filled with entire generations that did not grow up with the great wisdom of the Wyld Stallyns. ...
