And then I saw a chance to eliminate Wolf I wasn't expecting and I took it. I mean, it would have been great if stafoc did start backing him though! But Incineroar was like your Cissnei for me (Incissneiroar???) Funnily enough a few posts later in that round (again we were at the final 11) I said this: MartinFF7 posted... Finals of Roy vs. a furry creature looks pretty good right now ...granted I thought it'd be a nighttime Cloud elim that did him in but it still worked out the same anyways, and I honestly thought it'd be a Roy vs. Wolf or Dog final but figured I'd hedge it. But I could tell that Cloud was not going to pick up the dropout votes, again people are pretty predictable. And the strong plurality just isn't enough anymore. GMUN's pointing out last year on our Samus/ZSS split where I was operating under the theory that he was supporting Samus generally and not Samus as a Smash character specifically. So first tried to get a team-up going, and then yeah wanted to vote her out, not realizing it was fruitless anyways. Chalk that up to 2018 Martin.
