To be fair, there's a lot of anti-black sentiment coming out of China in response to COVID, similar to the anti-Chinese sentiment that's shown up in many other countries (only even less grounded in reality and more a matter of the CCP attempting to shift blame). It's very likely that they were perfectly happy to serve black people before this all happened and that this is a new policy in accordance with that growing trend. It's still pretty questionable to try operating a restaurant in Nigeria while not wanting to serve black people, but it's marginally less nonsensical if it's a recent decision instead of a long-standing policy. --- This is my signature.
