If the concern is really that people will try injecting themselves with Lysol, then telling everyone that Trump said that injecting Lysol cures the coronavirus is a great way to make that happen. The point people are making is that Trump -being the president of the united states, standing in front of every major news network and making a press briefing to every person in the world - should have a degree of decorum and tact and even a touch of awareness for the things he says.
