I also want to start my first Ultraman series, looking through recommendations on that. Ultraman Mebius is really good for something semi-modern and traditional. Nexus is an oddity in thats its really dark and serialized. Very good, but it was cancelled prematurely and it rushed its final arc across like, three episodes. You could start with it, just know there really isnt another series like it. For something more classic, you cant really go wrong with Ultraman (OG) or Ultraseven. The former if you want something closer to kaiju movies, the latter if youre more into general sci-fi. I dont have any experience with the new generation, but Taiga (which finished this year) I ended up really liking. Just know that to get the full experience, you might want to check out the voice dramas that were released in tandem with the series. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
