Modern medicine eventually gave a treatment but pretty much itndidnt stop anyone from doing what they were gonna do anyway PrEP was apparently approved for use back in 2012, I think. But started even before that. It may true that it didnt have a vaccine for a while. But I also wouldnt call it normal. Not to mention the marks it left. I still cant legally give blood or sell plasma because of the scars it left. They are slowly changing nag the rules, though. I do think some form of normalcy can be achieved without a vaccine.
