A fellow coworker is an amazing engineer but prior to the company having an actual dress code, he just wore T-shirts and basketball shorts in the office. At the time he never met with clients and what he wore did not affect his capability as an engineer. And then I have another engineer coworker who use to wear undersized tank tops and slippers on casual Friday. When he lifted his arms it was impossible to not notice his exposed hairy belly. So there is a line to be drawn somewhere to maintain that "professionalism". Some clients probably do need a stern talk with in regards to our policies but at the same time, we may not want to piss them off and lose them as a client. There's a balance to be had. I think our boss have cut ties with some well paying clients just because they were too much of a hassle. --- "You must gather your party before venturing forth" "Go for the eyes Boo!
